Three people were wounded in a shooting Wednesday afternoon in the Bronzeville neighborhood on the South Side.
A man and two women were standing outside about 3:40 p.m. when someone fired at them from a light-colored car as it drove by in the 300 block of East 51st Street, Chicago Police said.
The man, 55, was shot in the lower back and taken to St. Bernard Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
A 44-year-old woman was struck in the foot and taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in good condition, police said. The other woman, 50, was taken to Stroger Hospital in good condition with a gunshot wound to her buttocks.
