A man was shot to death Thursday evening in the Englewood neighborhood on the South Side.

At 6:22 p.m., 20-year-old Dijon Harris was in the 7000 block of South Morgan when someone in a passing vehicle shot him in the head, according to Chicago Police and the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office.

Harris was pronounced dead at the scene at 6:39 p.m., authorities said. He lived in Englewood, about a half mile from where he was fatally shot.

Area South detective were conducting a homicide investigation.
