Man shot on Near West Side

A man was wounded Wednesday afternoon in a Near West Side shooting.

The 18-year-old was shot in the right leg about 4:20 p.m. in the 100 block of South Leavitt, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Stroger Hospital, where his condition stabilized, police said.
