A fire broke out in an abandoned building Wednesday morning in the Englewood neighborhood on the South Side.

Firefighters responded to reports of the fire about 1 a.m. in the 6100 block of South Aberdeen Street.

The Chicago Fire Department could not immediately provide information on this incident.
