Man shot in Little Village

A man was shot Monday night in the Little Village neighborhood on the Southwest Side.

The 24-year-old man was inside a vehicle when an someone approached from a gangway and began firing shots at the vehicle at 10:36 p.m. in the 3800 block of West 30th Street, according to Chicago Police.

He was shot in the torso and took himself Mount Sinai Hospital where he is in serious condition, police said.

Area Central detectives were investigating.
