A man was found shot to death Friday morning in the Bronzeville neighborhood on the South Side.

About 2 a.m., officers found Ronald Brooks, 32, shot in the chest in the 3500 block of South Rhodes Avenue, Chicago Police and the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office said.

Brooks was taken to University of Chicago Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead, authorities said. He lived in Englewood.

Police were conducting a homicide investigation.

The wounded were stopped at a red light about 3:45 a.m. when a red vehicle pulled alongside them and someone inside opened fire.
