A 16-year-old girl returned home Wednesday after going missing for a week from the Montclare neighborhood on the Northwest Side.

Annelise Ortega was last seen Aug. 18 near the intersection of New England and Grand, according to an alert from Chicago Police.

Police announced Wednesday that she went back home.
