A man was shot early Thursday in the Rogers Park neighborhood on the North Side.

The 25-year-old was walking when a light colored car drove by and someone inside fired shots at 12:11 a.m. in the 1200 block of West Albion, according to Chicago Police.

He was shot in the abdomen, leg and lower back and was taken to St. Francis Hospital where he was in serious condition, police said.

Area North detectives were investigating.
