A man was wounded in a shooting early Sunday in the West Garfield Park neighborhood.

The 26-year-old was walking about 1 a.m. in the 4800 block of West Wilcox Street when two people approached him and opened fire, Chicago Police said.

He was struck multiple times in his body and was taken to Loretto Hospital in good condition, according to police.
