A Chicago man has been in connection with a shooting that killed a teen and wounded four others Nov. 28, 2021, in Evanston.

A 10-year-old boy reported missing from the Fourth of July parade in north suburban Evanston was found later that afternoon.

Bryce Evans went missing in the area around the parade, according to Evanston police. He was described as a thin, 5-foot-6 black boy wearing a Boy Scout uniform.

The parade ran along Central Street from Central Park Avenue to Ashland Avenue. It started at 2 p.m.

Bryce was located later that afternoon and reunited with his family, police said.
