A man was found dead early Thursday at the Palmer House Hilton hotel in the Loop.

David Perez, 54, was found unresponsive about 1 a.m. in a locker room in the hotel at 17 E. Monroe St., according to Chicago police and the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office.

Perez, who lives in the Southwest Side Brighton Park neighborhood, was pronounced dead on the scene, authorities said.

Police said there were “no visible signs of trauma.”

An autopsy Thursday found he died of hypertensive cardiovascular disease and his manner of death was ruled natural, the medical examiner’s office said.
