A 58-year-old man was wounded Thursday evening in a South Side Park Manor neighborhood shooting.

The 58-year-old was shot in the back about 5:45 p.m. in the 7400 block of South Evans, Chicago Police said.

Paramedics took him to University of Chicago Medical Center, where his condition stabilized.

He didn’t know anything about the shooting, police said.
