An 81-year-old woman was killed and two other people were injured in a four-vehicle crash Saturday morning in south suburban Oak Forest.

Genevieve Graff, of Orland Park, was making a left turn from eastbound 159th Street to northbound Ridgeland Avenue just before 10 a.m. when a westbound vehicle entered the intersection and collided with Graff’s vehicle, according to Oak Forest police and the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office.

Graff’s vehicle then spun around and came to a stop in the westbound median lane of 159th, while the other vehicle went north onto Ridgeland and hit two other vehicles that were stopped at a red light, police said.

Graff was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where she died at 4:57 a.m. on Sunday, authorities said. An autopsy Monday found she died of blunt force injuries from the crash and her death was ruled an accident.

Two other people involved in the crash were taken to hospitals, police said. Their injuries did not appear to be life-threatening.
