A man was wounded in a shooting Tuesday night in the Englewood neighborhood on the South Side.

The 20-year-old was walking when two males approached him and fired shots at 10:49 p.m. in the 6800 block of South Laflin, according to Chicago police.

He was struck in the groin and was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center where his condition was stabilized, police said.

Area South detectives were investigating.
