A man was shot Sunday morning in the Burnside neighborhood on the Far South Side.

The 22-year-old was standing about 11:45 a.m. in the 500 block of East 92nd Place when he heard gunfire and realized he’d been shot in the left arm, according to Chicago police.

He was taken to Trinity Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.

Area South detectives were investigating the shooting.
