A man was wounded in a drive-by shooting Sunday night in the Austin neighborhood on the West Side.

The 26-year-old was walking when a dark colored SUV drove by and someone inside fired shots at 9:27 p.m. in the 900 block of North Lamon, according to Chicago police.

He was struck in the knee and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital where he was in good condition, police said.

Area North detectives were investigating.
