An 86-year-old man died Friday evening in a hit-and-run crash in north suburban Morton Grove.

Leonid Belogur was struck and killed about 5 p.m. at Shermer Road and Greenwood Street, according to Morton Grove police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office. The driver who hit Belogur left the scene.

Belogur lived in Morton Grove, according to the medical examiner’s office. An autopsy found he died from multiple blunt force injuries from being struck by a vehicle.
