Another big game, another super impressive performance from Curie. Point guard Trevon Hamilton pretty much sums up the secret to the Condors’ success here:

“I just think we are a great team,” Hamilton said. “Our chemistry has been building. It is a team. That is the key word for every game. We are a family. When we step on this court we work together.”

Curie has now played and defeated every top tier Public League team except Young.

It was another huge game for Bogan’s Rashaun Agee.Everyone needs to see what he did tonight…

I think I’m heading over to Lane at Prosser tomorrow. I haven’t seen either team yet this season and need to get a look at sophomore Norvell Meadows.

Tuesday’s top games

No. 14 Bolingbrook 74, Sandburg 64: Darius Burford appears to be having a season. He scored 23 and Joseph Yesufu added 22. Sounds like it was a close game most of the way. The Raiders have possibly been the area’s best closers the past few years and pulled away at the end.

Riverside-Brookfield 71, Brother Rice 66: Reggie Loury led five Bulldogs in double figures with 19 points. Really nice win for R-B, which is now 13-3.

No. 11 Homewood-Flossmoor 65, Thornton 52: The Wildcats kept it close. Issac Stanback scored 20 for the Vikings. Demarco Minor led Thornton with 20.

Oak Forest 50, Oak Lawn 45: The Bengals win it on the road, led by Robbie Avila’s 14 points.

Lindblom 63, Dunbar 58: The Eagles take sole possession of first place in the White Central. Junior Myles Twyman scored a career-high 22 points. Marshun Williams had 16 and Isaiah Bowie scored 11.

Fenwick 73, Montini 68: The Friars grab the win but Montini is clearly a team to keep an eye on after last week’s win against St. Laurence. Sophomore Bryce Hopkins had 25 points and eight boards for Fenwick and Solomon Oraegbu added 21 points and seven rebounds.

No. 22 Providence-St. Mel 95, De La Salle 67: Eric Jordan scored 30 and Deion Jackson added 22. The Knights are now 12-4.

No. 3 Bloom 69, Joliet West 37: The Blazing Trojans cruise. Dante Maddox scored 22 and Donavan Newby added 14.

St. Patrick 62, Niles West 47: Austin Freeman is a name to keep an eye on. He scored 26 tonight.

No. 9 Simeon 75, No. 25 Kenwood 70: A needed win for the Wolverines. Antonio Reeves scored 29 agains his former school.

No. 5 Morgan Park 78, Hyde Park 29: Big game for Isaiah Burrell with 20 points.

Loyola 56, Mount Carmel 46: The Ramblers have won seven consecutive games. Connor Barrett led the way with 25.

Rolling Meadows 55, Conant 51: Max Christie with another huge night. The sophomore had 28 points and 11 rebounds.

Buffalo Grove 64, Schaumburg 52: This would have been a fun one to see with two of the MSL’s young stars squaring off. Freshman Kam Craft had 30 for Buffalo Grove and Nate Cole added 15 points.
