Four apartments were burglarized in Oct. 2019 in Chatham on the South Side.

Chicago police are warning residents of four burglaries reported in October in Chatham on the South Side.

In each incident, the person was able to break into apartments “through multiple entry points,” and remove property from therein, Chicago police said in a community alert.

These burglaries happened:

  • About 2 a.m. Oct. 2 in the 8200 block of South Ingleside Avenue;
  • About 2 p.m. Oct. 6 in the 8000 block of South Drexel Avenue;
  • Between Oct. 11 and Oct. 13 in the 8200 block of South Maryland Avenue; and
  • About 3:10 a.m. Oct. 14 in the 800 block of East 81st Street.
