Man found dead in Glenview park

Authorities are investigating after a man was found dead in a park Tuesday in northwest suburban Glenview.

The 68-year-old Glenview man’s body was found at 12:29 p.m. in Tall Trees Park in the 1800 block of West Lake Avenue, according to a statement from Glenview police.

Police said the death appeared to be non-criminal and there is “no danger to the public.”

An autopsy Wednesday ruled his death a suicide, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

The case remains under investigation by police and the medical examiner’s office.
