A 45-year-old woman reported missing from Austin on the West Side was safely located.

Carlita Jones was last seen Oct. 4 and was reported missing from the area of Randolph Street and Central Avenue, according to a missing persons alert from Chicago police.

Police canceled the alert about 6:40 p.m. Wednesday, stating that Jones had been located in Calumet City.
