Deer harvest by Illinois bowhunters continues to run well ahead of the 2018-19 season.

Here’s an update on the Illinois archery deer harvest from the IDNR Division of Wildlife Resources: ARCHERY DEER SEASON Through Sunday , October 20, 2019, Illinois archery deer hunters harvested a preliminary total of 13,948 deer, compared to 11,351 for the same period in 2018. Harvest to date has consisted of 67% does and 33% males (9344:4604). The top five counties for archery deer harvest through October 20, 2019 were Jefferson (393), Fulton (392), Pike (359), Williamson (292), and Macoupin (288). County results are [below]
