The wait is over. You can once again pick up your Krispy Kreme doughnuts right in downtown Chicago.

The Chicago Fresh Shop, the new downtown location for the popular doughnut chain, officially opened today on the pedway level at Block 37. It’s the fourth of eight planned shops in the greater Chicago area.

The menu features Krispy Kreme favorites such as the Original Glazed and assorted other doughnut varieties, as well as a full complement of frozen beverages and fresh-brewed coffee.

In honor of the grand opening, all brewed coffee is only 90 cents through the remainder of 2019.

In addition, 120 “Golden Tickets” will be given away at random to customers at checkout through Sunday. The winners will receive one dozen Original Glazed donuts free every month for one year.

The new downtown shop is the first one for the North Carolina-based chain since the closing of its original Loop location in 2005.

Can’t get to Block 37? Online ordering/delivery service is available through KrispyKreme.com, Grubhub and Uber Eats.

Shop hours: 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. Mon.-Sat.; 6 a.m to 7 p.m. Sun.
