Moon Alert

We have the all clear to shop and do business. The moon is in Libra.

Aries (March 21-April 19)

When talking to others, don’t get your belly in a rash. Fiery Mars is opposite your sign (along with the moon) and they are both at odds with Saturn and Pluto. Yikes! Don’t overreact. Most differences that are occurring right now are power struggles.

Taurus (April 20-May 20)

This is a poor day to ask for permission or approval from authority figures because your response will be “Talk to the hand!” Don’t be discouraged if bosses criticize you because this is par for the course with today’s energy. (There’s just no pleasing some people.)

Gemini (May 21-June 20)

Parents should lighten up dealing with their kids today. Likewise, in sports events, participants should not overreact. Criticisms and judgments can discourage others who in turn, feel resentful. Then you have a so-called “breakdown in communications.” Not good.

Cancer (June 21-July 22)

Do what you can to keep the peace at home and in the family because it’s easy for people to be critical of each other, which in turn, leads to arguments or sullen resentment. Power struggles are rife. Life is just hard.

Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)

It’s curious how our attitude can color everything. One day we feel one way, then the next day, with very little change in our circumstances, we feel completely different. Whatever negative feelings you have are a brief dark cloud on your horizon. Relax.

Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

Money is a crunchy situation. You feel broke or you don’t have enough money to do what it is you want to do. Remember what Mike Todd said. “I’ve never been poor, only broke. Being broke is a temporary situation.”

Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

The moon is in your sign emboldened by Mars and at odds with Pluto and Saturn. This is the classic combo for arguing about practically anything because it comes down to power and control. Today you might be at odds with a family member, especially a parent. Oy vey.

Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

Your playful self seems to have gone out the window, which is why you feel worried about something. Whatever is getting you down is something you can’t talk about to others. It’s a private matter. This makes you feel a bit lonely and cut off from the world. This is temporary. Courage.

Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

Someone older or in a position of power in a group that you’re dealing with (or even be a friend) might be on your case. They will discourage your efforts to go in the direction you want or aim for the goals that you want to achieve. Don’t let this get you down. You are your own person.

Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

This is a bad day to deal with authority figures of any kind because you feel shut down and discouraged. It seems that no matter what you try to do — you meet with obstacles! Many people feel this way. Just remember that everything is temporary — good times and bad times.

Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

Travel plans along with school or anything to do with publishing, the media and medicine and the law are areas that could discourage you. Relax. This is a temporary situation. Just remember: When the going gets tough, the tough go shopping.

Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)

Don’t be down if you are disappointed about your fair share of something or you have difficulty dealing with others in discussions about inheritances or how to deal with shared property. This is a temporary setback.

If Your Birthday Is Today

Singer Keith Urban (1967) shares your birthday. You are caring, conscientious and responsible. Although you appear distant and mysterious, you are warm and lovable. This is a fun-loving year. Enjoy increased popularity and warm friendships. This year you will be more grateful for your life and will appreciate the happiness and beauty around you in a daily way. You will make an important choice — choose wisely.
