Westbound I-80 lanes blocked due to vehicle crash in Lansing

Authorities were called shortly after 7:30 a.m. for a single-vehicle crash near Torrence Avenue, state police said.

Westbound lanes on Interstate 80 were closed Dec. 26, 2019, after a rollover crash involving a semitrailer carrying phosphoric acid near New Lenox. — Westbound lanes were blocked on I-80 in Lansing Oct. 27, 2019 due to a vehicle crash.

Westbound lanes on I-80 were blocked Friday in south suburban Lansing.

Crews were called shortly after 7:30 a.m. for a single-vehicle crash with injuries near Torrence Avenue, Illinois State police said. All westbound lanes were blocked. Lanes were cleared up a couple hours later.

Details about the crash were not immediately available, state police said.
