“Dancing With the Stars” pro dancer Valentin Chmerkovskiy got quite the surprise when listening to Kanye West’s new album, ”Jesus Is King.”

Chmerkovskiy — who has hoisted the “DWTS” mirrorball trophy two times — took to Instagram Friday hours after the album’s release to question a head-scratching lyric about the ABC dancing competition on West’s song, “On God.”

In the track, West raps: “That’s why I charge the prices that I charge / I can’t be out here ‘Dancing With the Stars’ / No, I cannot let my family starve / I go hard, that’s on God.”

In the video, a shirtless Chmerkovskiy raps along to West’s song up until the lyric. He then flashes a confused smirk, joking, ”Yo, Kanye, keep talking that smack about ‘Dancing With the Stars.’ ”

Chmerkovskiy epically called attention to Kim Kardashian West’s participation on Season 7 in 2008 with pro Mark Ballas, sharing multiple pictures of the rapper’s wife trying to keep up on the ballroom. (She was the third star eliminated, finishing in 11th place.)

”Man, you’re going to catch this diss track. Put some rhinestones on,” Chmerkovskiy added, seemingly challenging West to participate on the reality series.

The dancer playfully captioned the video, “That new Ye album got me in my feelings,” adding the hashtags #shotsfired and #beefstronganoff.

Kardashian West wasn’t the only member of her family to participate on “DWTS.” In 2011, her brother Rob Kardashian danced with pro Cheryl Burke on Season 13. He fared much better than his older sister, finishing in second place.

“DWTS” is currently in its 28th season. Chmerkovskiy was paired with Sailor Brinkley-Cook after her mother Christie Brinkley was injured during rehearsals.

The duo was eliminated from the competition Monday.
