A man was carjacked at gunpoint Sunday in the West Loop.
The 18-year-old was standing near his 2006 Chevrolet Uplander at 10:06 p.m. in the 600 block of West Lake Street when two males approached and demanded his keys, according to Chicago police.
One of the suspects was armed with a handgun and fired the weapon before they drove away in the SUV, police said. No injuries were reported.
No one is in custody as Area Central detectives investigate.
