Moon Alert

Avoid shopping or major decisions from 1 p.m.to 5:30 p.m. Chicago time. After that, the moon moves from Scorpio into Sagittarius.

Aries (March 21-April 19)

This is a tricky day in some ways. On one hand, financial negotiations can benefit you, and you will get favors, gifts or outright cash from others. However, confine your wheeling and dealing to the restrictions of the moon alert above and all will be well.

Taurus (April 20-May 20)

You will enjoy warm discussions with partners and close friends because things are easy-going. People are attracted to each other and willing to listen. Nevertheless, if you are agreeing to anything important or making important plans, heed the warning of the moon alert. (See above.)

Gemini (May 21-June 20)

Your communication skills with coworkers and people on the job are excellent today. It will be easy to bond with people and get their cooperation. Nevertheless, a good chunk of this day is hampered by a moon alert, which is a time of shortages. It’s also a poor time to make decisions or spend money on anything other than food, gas and entertainment.

Cancer (June 21-July 22)

This is a creative day! It’s a marvelous day to schmooze with others. Enjoy a long lunch. Meet friends or enjoy the company of groups. However, during the moon alert (see above) don’t volunteer for anything. Fun day for sports and playful times with kids!

Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)

Family discussions will be entertaining and upbeat today. Enjoy a long lunch. Entertain at home or drop in on someone else. However, do not volunteer for anything or agree to anything important during the moon alert. Be smart.

Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

This is a feel-good day because people are warm-hearted, convivial and conversational. Enjoy your interactions with others, especially neighbors, daily contacts, siblings and relatives. During the moon alert, agree to nothing important and avoid spending money other than on food and gas.

Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

Today there is a gaggle of planets in your money house, which means you are focused on financial issues, business-wise as well as wanting to spend money or shop. Avoid important decisions during the moon alert, including shopping for anything other than food or gas.

Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

Today the sun, the moon, Mercury and Venus are in your sign. It’s a Scorpio day! People will enjoy your company because you are charming and diplomatic. Have fun schmoozing with others but avoid the moon alert time when spending money.

Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

Today you prefer working behind the scenes or working alone. It’s also a good day to do research and seek answers to old problems. Whatever is the result, do not act on important issues or make big decisions until the moon alert is over. (See above.)

Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

This is a marvelous day to schmooze with friends and members of groups because people are friendly and easy-going. Nevertheless, during the time of the moon alert, avoid important decisions or volunteering for anything. Don’t shop.

Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

You make a fabulous impression on parents, bosses and VIPs today. With the exception of the moon alert time, this is a good day to promote your ideas or ask for permission. However, during the moon alert time, keep a low profile and don’t shop.

Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)

Grab every chance to travel or do something different because you want some adventure! Welcome every chance to expand your experience of the world. Enjoy interacting with people from other cultures. However, be aware of the limitations of the moon alert. (See above.)
