Man shot dead in Riverdale

A 20-year-old man was shot to death Wednesday in south suburban Riverdale.

The fatal shooting happened about 9:15 p.m. in the 14100 block of South Tracy Avenue, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Dominick Horne Jr. was pronounced dead at at the scene of the shooting, the medical examiner’s office said. He lived blocks away from where he was shot.

An autopsy released Thursday found Horne died of multiple gunshot wounds. The death was ruled a homicide.

Riverdale police did not immediately reply to requests for comment.
