Three burglaries have been reported in Sept. and Oct. 2019 in Marquette Park on the South Side.

Chicago police are warning residents to always be aware of their surroundings following three robberies reported in September and October in Marquette Park on the South Side.

In each incident, victims are approached by two people who demand their property, according to a community alert from Chicago police.

These robberies happened:

  • About 10 p.m. Sept. 18 in the 7200 block of South Western Avenue;
  • About 6:20 a.m. Sept. 23 in the 2700 block of West 71st Street; and
  • About 7:40 p.m. Oct. 1 in the 2400 block of West 71st Street.
