A 31-year-old man who was reported missing from Archer Heights on the Southwest Side has been safely located Chicago police said.

Rene Rivero was last seen Monday near Archer and Hamlin avenues, according to a missing person alert from Chicago police.

Police canceled the alert about 7 a.m. Wednesday, stating that Rivero had been safely located.
