About 6:15 p.m., a 62-year-old man was driving a bus westbound on North Avenue, when he swerved to avoid a stopped vehicle in the 3800 block of West North Avenue, Chicago police said.

The bus went over the curb, struck the side of a business and then crashed into a bus shelter before coming to a stop, police said.

No one was injured and the driver was not cited, police said.
