A 48-year-old woman who was reported missing for months and may have been in southwest suburban Oak Lawn has been located.

Rose Marie Garcia last stated that she was in the Oak Lawn area on Oct. 2, according to a missing persons alert from Chicago police.

Police cancelled the alert about 2:20 p.m. Saturday saying Garcia was found safe and sound.
