Police are warning delivery drivers after a couple of armed robberies were reported last week in Englewood on the South Side.

In both cases, the drivers were delivering an order when they were approached by one or two suspects who announced a robbery, Chicago police said in a community alert. The suspects were armed in each case.

A robbery happened about midnight Nov. 7 in the 5600 block of South Emerald Avenue, police said. Another took place Nov. 8 in the same block.

The suspects were described as 16 to 18-year-old males, standing 5-foot-6 and weighing 140 to 160 pounds, police said.
