Two men were critically wounded in a shooting before a multi-vehicle crash Thursday in Little Village on the Southwest Side. 

They were northbound in a vehicle about 7:26 p.m. in the 2700 block of South Pulaski Road when someone in a dark-colored SUV opened fire, Chicago police said. 

A 20-year-old was hit in the head and shoulder, while the other man, 24, was struck in the head, police said. Their vehicle crashed into another SUV, which then rear-ended another vehicle. 

Both men were taken to Mt. Sinai Hospital in critical condition, police said. The people involved in the crash declined medical attention. 

No arrests have been reported. Area Central detectives are investigating.
