A robbery was reported Nov. 5, 2019, in the 4300 block of South Mozart Street.

Police are warning Southwest Side residents of a string of robberies reported in recent weeks in Brighton Park and Archer Heights.

In each case, suspects approached someone and demanded property, Chicago police said in a community alert. One of the robbers was armed in at least one incident, and two of the victims were food delivery drivers.

The robberies happened:

  • About 9:27 p.m. Oct. 23 in the 2500 block of West 45th Place
  • About 7:38 p.m. Nov. 5 in the 4300 block of South Mozart Street
  • About 9:01 p.m. Nov. 7 in the 4200 block of South Francisco Avenue
  • About 9:34 p.m. Nov. 9 in the 4200 block of South Sacramento Avenue
  • About 6:30 p.m. Nov. 19 in the 4000 block of South Karlov Avenue

The suspects were described as two to five males between 15 and 19 years old, police said.

One of the males was described as 5-foot-8, 110 pounds with a black hoodie and was carrying a handgun, police said. Another as 5-foot-8, 110 pounds with blond hair and wearing a red hoodie with black clothing.
