Woman, 60, missing from South Shore found

A 60-year-old woman missing almost a month from South Shore was found.

Elsie Charles was last seen Nov. 26 by her husband as she was leaving their home in the 7100 block of South Cyril Avenue, according to a missing person alert from Chicago police. She was said to be going to a local convenience store.

Police canceled her missing person alert early Monday morning, stating that she was located and safe.
