A file scene from two years ago of the great setting for The Early Show, Chicago’s only fly-fishing show.

The simple verbal accuracy of The Early Show has always made me smile. That is doubly true because The Early Show keeps a fly-fishing show going around Chicago outdoors.

The Early Show is here already and I am hoping I can make it after church on Sunday.

The Early Show, presented by the Illinois Smallmouth Alliance and DRiFT, is 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday at Mayslake Peabody Estate in Oakbrook. For more information, check out dupageforest.org/news/news-releases/early-show-2019.
