Apartment burglaries reported in Bronzeville, Kenwood

Two of the burglaries happened in the 1100 block of Hyde Park Boulevard, and another was in the 4900 block of South St. Lawrence Avenue, police said.

Police are warning residents about apartment burglaries reported last month in Kenwood and Bronzeville on the South Side.

In each case, someone forced entry to an apartment door and stole property from inside, Chicago police said.

Two of the burglaries happened between 10:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. Nov. 18 in the 1100 block of East Hyde Park Boulevard, police said. A third occurred between 8:30 a.m. and 2:15 p.m. Nov. 20 in the 4900 block of South St. Lawrence Avenue.

No suspect description was available.
