The Public League Red-North/West is in the spotlight tonight. No. 10 Lincoln Park (6-1, 2-0) is at No. 12 Orr (2-1, 1-0) in what should be a terrific game. Mike Clark will be there to cover it.

Michael O’Brien will be in Douglas Park for Farragut (0-2, 0-2) vs. North Lawndale (5-1, 2-0). Both teams are very young and on the cusp of the Super 25. Last year in the playoffs the two teams brawled, resulting in both being disqualified from the state playoffs.

Schurz (4-3) at Von Steuben (3-1) is a top-notch White-North game. Both teams are 2-0 in conference and the Bulldogs should provide a good test for big man Ola Ajiboye. Von Steuben’s 6-8 junior is one of the area’s best 2021 prospects.

Wheaton-Warrenville South (4-2) at Glenbard West (4-0) is another game to keep an eye on. The Hilltoppers’ Braden Huff is a hidden gem. He may be the best college prospect no one has heard anything about. Huff, a 6-8 forward, has sparkled early on, averaging 14 points, seven rebounds, two assists and 3.2 blocks while knocking down six three-pointers on the young season.

Sports leagues benefit from two technical points that allow collusion.
Just a day before the Bears are expected to use the first pick in the NFL draft to draft quarterback-of-the-future Caleb Williams, the team will announce their plans for a state-of-the-art, publicly-owned stadium on the lakefront. The plans, according to the team, will include “additional green and open space with access to the lakefront for families and fans on the Museum Campus.”
Funny at first, the racket during their many intimate moments now disturbs people and keeps them up at night.

Although sauerkraut is perhaps the best-known national dish of Germany, and has been a staple of the German diet since the 1600s, it didn’t originate in Germany.
