Man missing from South Shore found safe

James McNeal, 74, had last been seen Dec. 15 and was missing from the 6900 block of South Merrill Avenue, according to Chicago police.

A 74-year-old man who was reported missing from South Shore on the South Side has been located.

James McNeal was missing from the 6900 block of South Merrill Avenue, according to a missing person alert from Chicago police.

Police canceled the alert Monday afternoon saying he had been found safe but did not provide additional details.
