Man missing from South Shore found safe

A 74-year-old man who was reported missing from South Shore on the South Side has been located.

James McNeal was missing from the 6900 block of South Merrill Avenue, according to a missing person alert from Chicago police.

Police canceled the alert Monday afternoon saying he had been found safe but did not provide additional details.
