Blue Line resumes with delays after reports of smoke at O’Hare

Trains were halted at O’Hare about 3:50 a.m. and were running with delays about an hour later.

CTA Blue Line service was suspended between the Rosemont and O’Hare stations Dec. 16, 2019, because of reports of smoke at O’Hare.

CTA Blue Line trains are moving again Monday after a service disruption prompted by reports of smoke at O’Hare.

Trains were halted at O’Hare about 3:50 a.m. because of a report of smoke at the station, according to service alerts from the CTA. Shortly before 4:30 a.m., all service was suspended between O’Hare and Rosemont.

Service resumed with residual delays about 4:46 a.m., the CTA said.
