Moon Alert

Not until 11 a.m. Chicago time do we have the all clear to shop and do business. The moon is in Sagittarius.

Aries (March 21-April 19)

Except for the restrictions in the morning (see moon alert) this is a pleasant day to start your week. You feel eager and ready to meet whatever awaits you. Bosses, parents and VIPs look at you with admiration. Relations with friends and groups are positive. Awriiight!

Taurus (April 20-May 20)

You are the financial wizard of the zodiac, and you’re focused on financial matters, inheritances, shared property and insurance. In the bigger picture, of course, travel beckons, along with opportunities in publishing, the media, medicine and the law. Busy you!

Gemini (May 21-June 20)

The moon is opposite your sign, which means you have to go more than halfway when dealing with others. This simply requires tolerance, patience and a generous attitude. No biggie. Meanwhile, you’re ready to work!

Cancer (June 21-July 22)

You will be involved in work that requires service to others. Or perhaps you have to put the needs and wants of someone else before your own? Just go with the flow and be as helpful as you can to make life easier for everyone — including you.

Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)

You’re a Friday person in a Monday world today because you want to play and have fun! Make plans to meet someone for lunch or after work. Enjoy sports events, playful activities with kids, happy hour after work or something that brings a smile to your face.

Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

This is a playful, fun-loving time, and today you would prefer to play hooky and stay at home. Either way, you might be involved with domestic situations or important conversation with a female family member. Home repairs require attention. Oh well.

Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

You are a social person and today you feel eager to share your ideas with someone because you want to enlighten them about something. This is also a good day to study and learn something new. You might enjoy a short trip.

Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

Money is on your mind because you are dealing with financial issues, or, perhaps, you’re shopping? If you are shopping, be aware of the restrictions of the moon alert (see above) —just for the morning. With Mars in your sign now, you have tons of energy!

Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

The moon is in your sign along with Mercury, which means you will have the edge when it comes to talking to others. You will easily make your point and they will be willing to listen to you because you will be articulate and convincing. Furthermore, you’re a bit luckier than all the other signs today.

Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

Four planets are in your sign, which means you’re out there flying your colors! However, the moon is hiding in your chart, which sends a completely different message. Therefore, if you want to be low-key and work alone or behind the scenes, do it.

Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

A conversation with a female acquaintance could be important. Quite likely, you are talking to younger people. Perhaps a discussion will ultimately affect your goals or cause you to change them in some way?

Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)

The moon is at the top of your chart, which means people notice you more than usual. It also means that for some reason, they know personal details about your private life! Like what’s with that? Tread carefully in case you have to do some damage control.

If Your Birthday Is Today

Actor, musician Finn Wolfhard (2002) shares your birthday. You are enthusiastic, witty and intelligent. You have a deep sense of purpose and wish for a better world. This year will be more laid back. Because your interactions with others will be important, do your best to cooperate with others. Look for ways to be kind and helpful. Be open to engaging with others because business and personal relationships will benefit you.
