Corey Barnett made his first deer with a bow something special. The North Aurora man arrowed a large nine-point buck in Pike County in mid-November. The disabled vet was hunting with his dad, Doug, and second cousin, Jim Green.

BOTW, the celebration of hunting bucks and their stories (the stories matter) around Chicago outdoors, runs Wednesdays in the Sun-Times, as warranted.
