The first traditional Tuesday of the season features two very intriguing Public League matchups: No. 2 Morgan Park at No. 8 Bogan and Lindblom at No. 4 Simeon.

Lindblom has been an extremely solid program the last couple of years. The Eagles won 25 games last season and have been promoted to the Red-South/Central. Myles Twyman, Marshun Williams, Na’Shawn Howze all averaged double figures last season.

It’s the season opener for Simeon, Lindblom is 4-0. Read more about Simeon’s 2019-20 squad here.

Kankakee, which has very high hopes for this season, will get a massive test tonight at top-ranked Bloom. Joliet West, which slipped into the rankings at No. 25, is taking on Destin Whitaker and Romeoville on the road. That game has developed into a pretty good rivalry over the past few years.

Neuqua Valley and sharpshooting junior John Poulakidas will travel to Cicero to take on Morton, which finished second at the Riverside-Brookfield Thanksgiving Tournament.
