Lindblom coach Zack Linderman wasn’t pulling any punches after his team lost to Simeon on Tuesday: “We are not talking about just staying in the Red; we are going to win some games in the Red.”

The Eagles (4-1) will have their hands full tonight with No. 11 Curie (2-0), but at least get to play on their home floor.

I’ll be over at Corliss to see the Trojans (1-0) host Hyde Park (2-0) in another Red-South/Central matchup. Corliss beat Kenwood on Tuesday, led by Nashawn Townsen’s 25 points. Junior Jalen Houston had a nice sophomore year for the Thunderbirds and had 22 points, eight boards and seven assists against Vocational on Tuesday.

Dom Martinelli watch will continue tonight on the North Shore. Martinelli and the Titans (5-0) are at New Trier (3-1) for a Central Suburban South showdown. Martinelli’s point totals so far this season: 37, 29, 24, 51, 32.
