No one was injured Friday afternoon when someone fired gunshots in the South Side Hyde Park neighborhood.

The shots were fired about 2:40 p.m. in the 5100 block of South Kenwood Avenue, Chicago police said. There was minimal damage to property.

Officers recovered a weapon in the 5000 block of South Woodlawn Avenue, police said. No one was in custody.
