A man died early Thursday after he was found in a car with several gunshot wounds in the South Chicago neighborhood.

Kenyatta Hill, 33, appeared to be driving at 12:17 a.m. when he was shot multiple times in the 8500 block of South Manistee Avenue, according to Chicago police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office. The 2013 Dodge Avenger then crashed into two parked vehicles.

Hill, who lived in Bronzeville, was pronounced dead at University of Chicago Medical Center at 12:55 a.m., authorities said.

No one is in custody as Area South detectives continue to investigate.
