Missing Portage man has been found safe: police

Portage police have located a 74-year-old man who went missing Monday from northwest Indiana.

H. John Blumenthal of Portage was last seen driving a silver 2010 Chrysler Sebring convertible, according to an Indiana State Police Silver Alert.

Police said Wednesday morning that Blumenthal had been found safe in another jurisdiction.
