A man was shot and killed Monday in South Shore.

Earl Taylor, 23, was sitting in a parked vehicle in the 7200 block of South Euclid when a dark-colored SUV pulled up and someone inside fired shots, Chicago police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office said.

Taylor was struck in the head about 3:55 p.m., police said. He was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center for treatment where he was later pronounced dead.

Area Central detectives are investigating the shooting, police said. No one has been arrested.
